BAP-1 small pond air pump produces .05 cfm (86 in³) of oxygen to ponds, fish holding tanks, and hydroponic systems. Oxygenated water is critical for keeping fish and aquatic life alive and healthy. Aerating the water also benefits the bacteria living inside biological filters.
The fish holding tank shown here features BAP-1 small pond air pump pushing air through one 2″ ball diffuser. The BAP-1 can also be used to aerate fish hospital tanks and holding tanks during pond clean-outs.
BAP-1 small pond air pump is not rated for outdoor use. If using the BAP-1 outdoors, it must be protected from the weather. The BAP-1 small pond air pump is not weather resistant or submersible.
The BAP-1 small pond air pump can be used with one 2″ ball diffuser, or one 3″ round diffuser. The maximum depth for a diffuser with the BAP-1 is 24″.
