Imagine a natural-looking waterfall and stream flowing through your landscape,
winding between boulders, cascading over smaller drops into where the stream or small pool then disappears into a pipe hidden under a boulder or other material.
With HydroPure™ Filtered Pondless Waterfall Systems, you can create a waterfall and stream that fits your yard, your landscaping, and your personal style.
Whether you want a short, gently flowing stream beside your patio or a longer water feature winding through your garden, you can customize the design to suit your space.
Beautiful above ground. Smarter below ground.
Start With the Waterfall. Then Design Your Stream.
Your waterfall sets the stage for the entire water feature.
Choose the waterfall size that fits your landscape, then determine how far you want the water to travel before returning to the filtration system.
HydroPure™ systems feature three sizes of Hydro Vortex™ Biological Waterfall Filters, each designed to create a different waterfall size.
Ahi Series – Small Waterfalls & Streams
16" Wide × 20" High Waterfall
Perfect for smaller yards, intimate garden settings, courtyards, and patios.
An Ahi Series waterfall can become the starting point for a gently flowing stream that meanders through a flower bed, alongside a walkway, or around a small seating area.
Its compact size makes it easy to incorporate moving water into landscapes where space is limited.
Marlin Series – Medium Waterfalls & Streams
20" Wide × 25" High Waterfall
Looking for something with a little more presence?
The Marlin Series provides a wider, taller waterfall that can serve as the focal point of a medium-sized landscape.
Add a winding stream, incorporate a few smaller cascades, or create a gentle change in elevation as the water travels through your garden.
Dolphin Series – Large Waterfalls & Streams
25" Wide × 31" High Waterfall
For landscapes where you want a more prominent water feature, the Dolphin Series provides a larger waterfall opening and greater visual presence.
Create a wider stream, incorporate additional drops, or design a longer watercourse that connects different areas of your landscape.
Remember: Your waterfall size and stream length are separate design considerations. The right pump and plumbing depend on the total water flow, stream dimensions, elevation changes, and plumbing requirements.
From a small garden stream to a larger, more dramatic water feature,
HydroPure™ gives you the freedom to choose the waterfall and stream size that fits your landscape.
Let Your Landscape Shape Your Stream
Straight, Curved, Short or Long — It's Your Design
One of the most enjoyable parts of building a pondless waterfall and stream is deciding where the water will travel.
Your stream doesn't have to follow a straight line.
It can curve around existing trees, pass between planting beds, flow alongside a patio, or wind through an area of your yard that you want to transform.
You can also incorporate:
-
Gentle flowing sections for quiet, relaxing water movement.
-
Small cascades to add sound and visual interest.
-
Wider, shallow sections that reflect surrounding plants and landscaping.
-
Narrower channels that create faster-moving water.
-
Stepping stones or small bridges to connect walkways and garden areas.
-
Natural boulders and aquatic landscaping to blend the stream into its surroundings.
The length, width, curves, and elevation changes are all part of your creative design.
Design Your Stream Around Your Landscape — Not Your Equipment.
Design your waterfall and winding stream where they look best, while locating your HydroSieve™ and HydroChamber™ in an accessible landscaped area closer to your home's utilities.
A Beautiful Stream Doesn't Need a Gravel-Filled Water Reservoir
Two Ways to End Your Pondless Stream
Option 1: A Shallow Collection Pool
Create a small, shallow pool at the end of your stream, surrounded by natural boulders and landscaping. Water flows from the pool through a 4-inch inlet pipe into the HydroSieve™ pre-filter, where leaves and debris are captured before the water enters the HydroChamber™.
This option provides a natural-looking place for the stream to finish, with a visible pool of water.
Option 2: Direct-to-HydroSieve™ Stream
Prefer a disappearing stream without a collection pool?
The stream flows directly into the HydroSieve™ 4-inch inlet pipe, disappearing from view without the need for a collection pool or gravel-filled reservoir.
The HydroSieve™ captures leaves and debris before the water travels to the HydroChamber™, just as it does with a collection pool.
Two ways to finish your pondless stream.
Both direct water through a concealed 4-inch inlet pipe to the HydroSieve™ pre-filter — without a gravel-filled underground reservoir.
Either way, there's no need for a large, gravel-filled water reservoir beneath your stream.
Because you aren't burying a large water-storage reservoir beneath the stream's endpoint, you have more flexibility when designing the surrounding area.
No gravel-filled reservoir. More landscaping possibilities. Easier access to your equipment.
Design Your Stream Around Your Landscape — Not Your Equipment
Put Your Equipment Where You Can Easily Access It
Here's where HydroPure™ gives you a different way to think about pondless waterfall and stream design.
Your waterfall and stream can be located where they'll look and sound their best.
Meanwhile, the HydroSieve™ and HydroChamber™ can be installed remotely in a nearby landscaped area where their lids remain accessible.
For example, you might build a waterfall beside your patio, allow the stream to wind through your garden, and place the filtration and pump equipment in a planting bed closer to an electrical outlet and available water source.
The equipment can remain discreetly integrated into the landscape without being buried beneath the stream's decorative rockwork.
How the Water Circulates
1. Waterfall & Stream
Water flows from the Hydro Vortex™ waterfall filter, travels through your landscaped stream, and collects in the shallow pool at the end.
2. HydroSieve™ Pre-Filter
Water exits the stream or collection pool through a 4" pipe and enters the HydroSieve™, where its removable stainless-steel basket captures leaves and other debris before they reach the pump.
3. HydroChamber™ Pump Chamber
Pre-filtered water travels through another 4" pipe into the HydroChamber™, which houses the pump and provides accessible water storage.
4. Return to the Waterfall
The pump sends water through the return plumbing to the Hydro Vortex™ biological waterfall filter, completing the circulation cycle.
Your stream determines where the water travels. You determine where the equipment goes.
HydroPure™ Filtered Pondless Systems give you the freedom to design your waterfall and stream around your landscape.
Install the HydroSieve™ and HydroChamber™ wherever access is most convenient. Concealed plumbing connects the components, and the HydroFlush™ system makes routine filter cleaning easy — without dismantling your water feature.
Easy to Clean Means More Time to Enjoy Your Stream
A pondless waterfall and stream are constantly exposed to the surrounding landscape.
Leaves, blossoms, seeds, dust, and other debris can enter the water as it flows through your garden.
The important question isn't whether debris will enter your stream.
It's how you're going to remove it.
HydroPure™ systems are designed to make routine cleaning straightforward.
Nature brings beauty — and debris. Every pondless waterfall collects dust, pollen, leaves, animal waste, and nutrients from its surroundings. Without effective filtration, these contaminants can accumulate, contribute to algae growth, and increase maintenance. HydroPure™ filtered pondless systems are designed to capture debris and help maintain cleaner, clearer water with less work.
HydroSieve™ - Remove Debris Before It Reaches the Pump
Instead of allowing leaves and other debris to accumulate inside a gravel-filled reservoir, the HydroSieve™ collects them in an accessible stainless-steel basket.
Lift the lid, remove the basket, empty the debris, and reinstall it.
HydroChamber™ — Keep Your Pump Accessible
Your pump is housed inside the HydroChamber™, rather than buried beneath layers of decorative rock and reservoir materials.
Remove the chamber lid when pump access is needed.
HydroPure™ separates debris from the water before it reaches the pump. Water flows from the stream into the HydroSieve™, where leaves and debris are captured in an easy-to-remove stainless steel basket. Pre-filtered water then flows into the HydroChamber™, keeping the pump accessible and separated from collected debris. Two simple components working together for cleaner water and easier maintenance.
Hydro Vortex™ — Backwash Your Waterfall Filter — Without Taking It Apart
The Hydro Vortex™ biological waterfall filter is designed for easy routine maintenance with the HydroFlush™ backwash system.
During backwashing, water is redirected to the HydroFlush™ froth jet inside the filter. The jet shoots water vertically above the filter, allowing it to fall back through the Hydro FilterSilk™ biological media, loosening and flushing accumulated debris out through the filter's drain valve.
The waterfall is turned off during backwashing, so dirty water is discharged to waste instead of flowing down your waterfall and stream.
No removing rocks, no digging out filter media, and no dismantling your waterfall.
Just a simple backwash to help keep your filtration system performing efficiently.
The HydroFlush™ system redirects water through the filter's froth jet,
rinsing accumulated debris from the Hydro FilterSilk™ and flushing it out through the drain valve — without sending dirty water down the waterfall.
Small Yard or Large Landscape — Make the Design Your Own
Your pondless waterfall and stream can be as simple or as elaborate as your landscape allows.
A small backyard might feature an Ahi Series waterfall with a short stream flowing beside a patio.
A larger garden might use a Marlin Series waterfall with a winding stream, multiple small cascades, and a landscaped collection pool.
A spacious backyard could incorporate a Dolphin Series waterfall and a longer stream connecting different outdoor living areas.
And because HydroPure™ systems are customizable, you can select the pump, plumbing, liner, and installation options appropriate for your design.
You're not limited to a one-size-fits-all pondless waterfall kit.
From a small backyard waterfall beside your patio to a winding stream through a spacious landscape, HydroPure™ gives you the freedom to create a water feature that's uniquely yours. Choose your waterfall size, customize your stream, and enjoy the beauty of moving water without a gravel-filled reservoir.
