Our Ultimate Pondless Waterfall Kits are designed differently than the typical pondless waterfall kits found everywhere online that feature rock and gravel basin reservoirs. Our Ultimate Pondless Waterfall Kits feature a backwashable Hydro Vortex™ waterfall filter, a HydroChamber™ "all-in-one" pump vault/water storage tank, and a HydroSieve™ pre-filter. These units work together to filter out debris. Unlike conventional pondless waterfall kits that require the water storage to be at the base of the waterfall, Ultimate pondless waterfall components are modular and can be installed away from the waterfall or stream.
Conventional pondless waterfall kits found everywhere online all require rock and gravel as the pre-filter. The rock and gravel does do its job of filtering out windblown debris from the pondless waterfall, but how do you clean it? How do you remove trapped debris from down inside rock and gravel? That is the problem with every single pondless waterfall kit that uses a slotted pump vault, matrix blocks, and rock and gravel basin. THEY CAN NOT BE EASILY CLEANED!!! So what happens with the debris that the gravel basin filters out of the water? It gets trapped in the gravel basin, then begins to rot and decay - THIS CAUSES ALGAE GROWTH!
Ultimate Pondless Waterfall kits are designed to remove debris from the waterfall and trap it in the HydroSieve™ where it can be easily emptied and hosed out. No hand-picking debris from rock and gravel! Also, with the included Hydro Vortex™ waterfall filter, dissolved organics will be biologically filtered out - and cleaning the Hydro Vortex™ is super simple! Just backwash it manually, or with the HydroFlush™ backwash system. The HydroChamber™ is designed for up to two pumps, is pre-plumbed for an auto water fill valve, and stores as much water as two water storage matrix blocks.
