The RWK-4 linear pond air pump helps to increase the amount of oxygen and submerged circulation in pond water. Providing a clean, oil-free air source, it is exceptionally quiet in operation, as low as 35dB even when running continuously. High Efficiency RWK-4 Linear Pond Air Pump

Running on just 30 watts of electricity, this whisper-quiet aeration pump costs virtually nothing to run. You can feel good about providing constant aeration to your pond.

Aeration is extremely important. A healthy ecosystem requires a constant supply of oxygen. The RWK-4 linear pond air pump provides 1.41 cubic feet of oxygen per minute to the water. This increases and maintains higher levels of dissolved oxygen in the water. Also, the rising air bubbles increase water circulation.

During warmer months, warmer pond water contains less dissolved oxygen than colder water. Adding a RWK-4 linear pond air pump with a diffuser will help keep fish and ecosystem healthy. Higher levels of oxygen dissolved in your pond increases the metabolism rate of the beneficial bacteria living in your biological pond filter.

During periods of freezing weather – the rising air bubbles from a RWK-4 linear pond air pump diffuser will keep a hole open in the ice. The churning bubbles prevent the pond from completely freezing over. Keeping a hole open in the pond is critical for the health of your fish. An open hole in the ice allows for potentially harmful gasses to escape the water.
