Ultimate Small Pondless Waterfall Kits
Provide You With Complete Creative Design Freedom
Why would you settle for a conventional small pondless waterfall kit that requires a bigger basin excavation, is impossible to clean, and that offers you no design options?
With all conventional pondless waterfall kits - no matter the brand - you will always have a large gravel filled water storage basin. That algae growing gravel filled water storage basin must always be at the base of the waterfall - it simply can not be located anywhere else! All conventional pondless waterfall kits provide you with no alternative design options. Some come with biological filters - the super inexpensive (i.e. cheap) ones don't. They all require a gravel filled water storage basin with or without water matrix blocks. They all use rock as the prefilter. They all grow algae like crazy.
Why would you settle for a conventional small pondless waterfall kit?
The Ultimate Small Pondless Waterfall Kit is Different … to be Better
When your Ultimate small pondless waterfall and pool kit is ON and running, water is pumped out of the HydroChamber™. Water is pumped into the vortex section of the patented Ahi Hydro Vortex™ waterfall filter. The water then rises up through the media chamber containing Hydro FilterSilk™ bio media. The bio media “polishes” the water while biologically processing dissolved organics from the water.
The water then exits the waterfall opening at the top of the Ahi Hydro Vortex™ waterfall filter. Rubber liner is attached to the filter with a water tight liner gasket flange. Water cascades over the boulders or cut stone to create the waterfalls.
After the waterfalls the water then “disappears” into a 4″ pipe hidden within boulders, or directly into the inlet pipe of HydroSieve™-PF pre-filter. The stainless steel sieve filter inside the HydroSieve™ stains debris from the water. Strained water then passes out of the bottom of the HydroSieve™-PF pre-filter back into the HydroChamber™ to repeat the process.
When the small pondless waterfall kit is in the OFF mode the water is stored inside the HydroChamber™. Because of the check valve, the Ahi Hydro Vortex filter remains full of water as well.
In the OFF mode, the small pondless waterfall kit has no visible, or standing water. This is where the term “pondless” comes from.
For winterizing the small pondless waterfall kit, simply open the drain valve that is included with the Ahi Hydro Vortex™ filter while the pump is running. The pump will pump all the water out of the tank and out the filter’s drain pipe. If using a submersible pump, simply open the cam lock assembly of the check valve and remove the pump from the HydroChamber™. If using an external pump, open the primer pot and volute drains to purge water. In both cases, leave the Ahi Hydro Vortex™ filter drain valve open to purge rainwater or snow melt.
You have your choice of backwashing methods of the patented Ahi Hydro Vortex™ waterfall filter included with your small pondless waterfall kit.
- Manual Backwash
- HydroFlush™ Patented Backwash System
Either way, it is SUPER easy!
To manually backwash the Ahi Hydro Vortex™ waterfall filter:
- 1. Turn your pump off
- 2. Open the filter drain valve and let the filter completely drain
- 3. Using a garden hose, flush water down through the top of the filter
- 4. When the water exiting the drain runs clear – you’re done!
- 5. Close the filter drain
- 6. Turn your pump back on
Please note, you will need to replace the water that was drained from the filter during backwashing. If you have an Auto Fill Valve Kit installed inside the HydroChamber™, it will do it for you. If you don’t, simply add water with a hose while your pump is running. Fill the water up to the Auto Fill Valve port inside the HydroChamber™.
HydroFlush™ Self Cleaning Backwash System
The absolute EASIEST way to backwash and clean the
Ahi Hydro Vortex waterfall filter!
To HydroFlush™ Your Hydro Vortex™ Filter:
- 1. Turn your pump off
- 2. Open the filter drain valve and let the filter completely drain
- 3. Turn the HydroFlush™ valve to the backwash position
- 4. Turn your pump back on (water will shoot upwards then fall back down into and through the filter)
- 5. When the water exiting the drain runs clear – your done!
- 6. Close the filter drain valve
- 7. Return the HydroFlush™ valve to the filter position
As noted above with the manual backwash, you will need to replace the water that was drained from the filter during backwashing. If you have an Auto Fill Valve Kit, it will do it for you. If you don’t, simply add water with a hose while your pump is running. Fill the water up to the Auto Fill Valve port inside the HydroChamber™.
Ahi Series Ultimate Small Pondless Waterfall Kit Features Easy to Clean Pre and Post Filtration
A small pondless waterfall is only as beautiful as it can be maintained. The biggest complaint people have with all brands of conventional pondless waterfall kits is ALGAE! Conventional pondless waterfall kits use river rock and gravel as the prefilter, and do not have adequate water filtering. If you can't remove debris from the gravel, is starts to rot, stink, and of course ..... feed algae!
A difficult, or impossible to clean small pondless waterfall doesn’t get cleaned as it should. A dirty pondless waterfall grows excessive algae, with foul and malodorous water that can be unhealthy for children, pets, and wildlife.
A pondless waterfall that is easy to clean, will encourage you to clean it more often. A clean pondless waterfall stays algae free, clean, fresh and safe for children, pets, and wildlife.

The HydroChamber™ and HydroSieve™ are modular with remote installation capabilities. You have complete creative design control of where you want your pondless water storage and your pre-filter.
If you choose, they can be at the base of your pondless waterfall. The most creative place to put your water storage and pre-filter is completely away from your pondless waterfalls.
Conventional pondless waterfall kits use a gravel filled basin for pre-filtering debris from the water - but how do you clean the gravel?
Many conventional pondless waterfall kits don't include a biological filter for processing dissolved organics from the water - so guess what .... they grow excessive algae!
Some pondless waterfall kits included a biological filter - but it isn't backwashable. So how do you clean it?
The HydroChamber™, HydroSieve™-PF pondless pre-filter, and Ahi Hydro Vortex™ backwashable waterfall filter work together to provide you with the “Ultimate” small pondless waterfall kit. Ultimate small pondless waterfall kits are EASY TO CLEAN! A clean pondless waterfall is simply more beautiful.
Why is a patented Ahi Hydro Vortex™ Backwashable Waterfall Filter Included
With Each Small Ultimate Pondless Waterfall Kit?
- Dust, pollen, bird waste, frog waste, nitrogen, acid rain, airborne pollutants, and phosphates not processed out of pondless waterfalls feed algae
- Just like ponds, the water in pondless water features trap all sorts of wind-blown, rain-dropped, or irrigated dissolved organic debris
- Waterfall weirs or waterfall starters in conventional pondless waterfall kits DO NOT process dissolved organics out of the water
- Dissolved organics not processed by a backwashable waterfall filter simply recirculate through the pondless water feature .... but what happens to these dissolved organics?
- Unprocessed dissolved organics feed algae!
The Ahi Hydro Vortex™ waterfall filter will process dissolved organics out of your pondless waterfall . It will also drastically improve water clarity, quality, and remove odors. The Ahi Hydro Vortex™ filter is also easy to clean. You have your choice of manual backwash, or HydroFlush™ with your Ultimate small pondless waterfall kit.
A pondless waterfall will become only as beautiful as it can be maintained.
Ahi Series Ultimate Small Pondless Waterfall Kits are Easy to Clean, Modular and Flexible
Ahi Series small pondless waterfall kits all come with a HydroSieve™ pre-filter and a HydroChamber™ "all-in-one" pump vault and water storage tank. These two units replace the large gravel basins of conventional pondless waterfall kits. The HydroSieve™ traps debris for easy removal, and the HydroChamber™ replaces basin underlayment, basin liner, a slotted pump vault, two water matrix blocks, and hundreds of pounds of rock and gravel.
As you can see from this photo, both units are modular. This lets you install them together ..... or apart from each other. You can have them at the base of your pondless waterfalls, or moved away. They simply connect to standard 4" PVC or ABS piping with rubber couplers. No other small pondless waterfall and pool kit offers this kind of flexibility.
Unlimited Small Pondless Waterfall and Pool Creative Design Options
Ultimate small pondless waterfall kits are designed to give the designer more installation options, and for the end-user to be able to easily clean and maintain themselves. Ultimate pondless waterfall kits give installers more creative design options: Design the waterfalls in one section of the landscape, remotely install the HydroSieve™-PF pre-filter in another location, and remotely install the HydroChamber™ water storage tank in yet another location - with any type of landscaping or hardscaping in between.
Ultimate Small Pondless Waterfall and Pool Kits are Easy to Clean!
Each and every Ultimate small pondless waterfall kit comes with a HydroSieve™ pre-filter that captures debris. Rock and gravel in conventional pondless waterfall kits is NOT an easy to clean pre-filter!
Before buying any small pondless waterfall kit
you should ALWAYS ask ....
"How do I clean it?"
After all, it's your pondless waterfall and you'll have to clean it yourself ... or pay someone a lot of money to clean it for you! You'll need to add the high cost of cleaning to the price of difficult to clean low cost gravel pit/matrix pondless waterfall kits.
Our Ultimate small pondless waterfall kits are easy to clean and provide you a much better value for your money.
Ultimate Pondless Waterfall Kits Save You Money
Over Cheap Price Conventional Pondless Waterfall Kits!
You Get What You Pay For - We're Just Say'in
Conventional pondless waterfall basins consist of a slotted pump vault, water matrix blocks, liner, underlayment, rock, and gravel.
None of these conventional small pondless waterfall kits come with a pre filter to trap debris for easy removal. Most don't come with a backwashable waterfall filter to process dissolved organics. They all don't come with an "All-in-One" pump chamber that is both a pump vault and water storage tank.
The HydroSieve™ and HydroChamber™ included with every Ultimate pondless water kit replaces all the above listed items in a much smaller space. A smaller pondless basin requires excavation labor, saving you installation time and money.
The HydroChamber™ is a BETTER VALUE!
With the "all-in-one" pump vault and water storage tank configuration of the HydroChamber™ included with every Ultimate small pondless waterfall kit, the pondless waterfall excavation can be significantly smaller than conventional pondless waterfall water storage basins. This saves you money in labor costs! Why dig a hole bigger than you need to?
